Waveney Norse achieve Suffolk Community Safety Accreditation Scheme Status

In Partnership with Waveney District Council, Waveney Norse has achieved Suffolk Community Safety Accreditation Scheme Status.

The process for accreditation has taken almost a year of work to reach completion.  In that time Waveney Norse has been working closely with Suffolk Police, who are responsible for the scheme, to ensure its successful, smooth introduction and long term implementation for Waveney.

The achievement will enable Waveney Norse to train their workforce to more effectively deal with elements of anti-social behaviour such as; littering, dog fouling, fly tipping and graffiti by empowering them to take enforceable action on the issues that affect the local community.  It will also help to assist front line Waveney Norse and Waveney District Council staff with some of the challenges they face, within their job roles, on a daily basis
