Suffolk Coastal Services - Working in partnership with Suffolk District Coastal Council
managing performance, delivering service
We manage our business using the "balanced scorecard" performance management system to ensure that we meet and maintain the standards expected by our customers.
We hold ISO 19001 Quality Management and ISO 14001 Environmental Management accreditation. The latter reflects our commitment to minimising the negative environmental impact of our work and to ensuring that we have a positive environmental impact wherever possible.
We are an Investor in People and seek to develop our staff so that they can provide the highest standard of work to our customers. Our staff hold relevant qualifications, for instance British Pest Control Association, NPTC or NVQs related to the industry in which they work.
We have membership of recognised industry bodies such as BALI and the ECA. We have helped local parish and town councils to success in the annual Anglia in Bloom competions and our groundsmen have received awards from the football association.
We meet and exceed the performance standards set for us by our customers.
The British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) was established in 1972 to provide a voice for landscapers and, most importantly, to raise standards throughout the industry.

ISO 9001:2000 is the standard that provides a set of standardized requirements for a quality management system, regardless of what the user organization does, its size, or whether it is in the private, or public sector. It is the only standard in the family against which organizations can be certified – although certification is not a compulsory requirement of the standard.
