Vehicle Maintenance

Our Vehicle Maintenance Workshops carry out maintenance to a wide range of vehicles including LGV’s, plant and mechanical equipment.  All our own vehicles have regular servicing and safety inspections and all works are carried out to VOSA’s “Maintaining Roadworthiness Guidelines”. 

Our Lowestoft Vehicle Workshop is open from 6.30 am to 5 pm Monday and 6.30 am to 4.30 pm on a Friday.

Our Lowestoft MOT Station provides the facility to test vehicles of Class IV and VII.  Our MOT Station has regular inspections by VOSA and currently we hold Green Light Status which means that our Testing Station runs to a high standard – we are within the top 5% of all UK Testing Stations. We have a customer viewing area and a small reception where refreshments are available whilst the customer waits for their vehicle.  We provide a fully independent and impartial MOT Service taking into account our customers' needs and requirements.
Our MOT Station is open from 6 am to 3.30 pm Monday to Thursday and 6.00 am to 3.00 pm on a Friday.

We operate a programme of servicing and renewal of our own fleet of refuse vehicles, vans, skip trucks and street sweepers. All vehicles are maintained to the latest EU guidelines and specifications.

Our drivers are well trained and extensive risk assessments have been carried out for their work.  When we visit your site you can be confident that the vehicle we send will be well maintained and well driven and that our driver will respect your property and the people who work there. 

We are an environmentally aware company, with a commitment to ensuring that we minimise the negative impact that the use of motor vehicles can have on the environment.  This means  that we seek to reduce emissions and also that we investigate the use of alternative fuels and ensure that our drivers' "rounds" are planned efficiently.  We seek to recycle as much of our waste as possible.

By bulk buying and storing our fuel we ensure we obtain the best price, which is then reflected in the charges we make for our services.  It also means that our fleet has the resilience to continue operating during short term fuel crisis.
